You&#039;re right--turkeys are smarter than people think!  I&#039;ve gotten to know some and they are very sweet and affectionate.  Most of them are friendly and like to sit on your lap (or try to, if they&#039;re too big).  It&#039;s a shame they are so abused.</description>
